Mood Hoops Light Show - November 16, 2014

Some friends brought over these super expensive and beautiful LED hula hoops.  You really have to see them to understand the optical illusion.  I hope I get another chance to photograph these again because I was really interested in the effects.

Backyard Birds - November 16, 2014

Noticed a lot of activity outside today with at least one phoebe calling, several house wrens, some birds I couldn't identify by sound but were gone when I got my camera.  This bluebird was not camera shy.  Think he wanted the caterpillar I found then gave up when I wouldn't stop taking his photo.

Nature Show at Weeki Wachee - November 11, 2014

The kids running the nature show did a really good job.  Also added a couple photos of photo of peacocks, which you see a lot wandering around the property.

Weeki Wachee - November 11, 2014

Continued the fun Veterans Day weekend with a quick trip to Weeki Wachee, which waved the $13 fee for the day.  There are exactly three things to do here: mermaid show, boat ride, nature show. But they are good things.

 

Hotel at Daytona Shores - November 10, 2014

Said goodbye to the nice view from the hotel this morning, checked out Halifax Drive for the great cormorant one more time, and then headed back home.

Sunset at Daytona Shores - November 9, 2014

Had a very nice hotel right on the beach, had to go to an interior window since sunset is on the "wrong" side on this coast!  Still got some good views.

Restaurant at Daytona Shores - November 9, 2014

Ended the day at this nice restaurant called "Top of Daytona".  It is on the 29th floor and the views were great.  Was very happy with the food options as well.

Driving Along Daytona Shores - November 9, 2014

I had never driven on the beach before, so this was really something new.  The windsurfer kept flipping up into the air and somehow landing in the ocean again.
