Eagle Roost Trail at Circle B Bar - August 17, 2013

I decided to go on the back trail through the open field to get closer to the eagle nest.  There was one adult sitting there already even though it is not yet nesting season.  While I was back there, I also found a meadowlark and a really interesting moth.  I usually skip this part of the trail because it is a long time in the open sun, but it worked out well today.
