Dancing Great Blue Herons, Fort DeSoto - December 27, 2013

I got to the very furthest part of the beach you can walk to, and it started raining.  However, once I came across this, I just couldn't leave.  I had no idea that great blue herons do this.  It was like something out of a nature documentary.  Luckily I remembered to take a short video too.  Every movement was mirrored by the other.  It reminded me of the slowness of the movements in tai chi.  They watched each other so carefully and the dance lasted 10 minutes or so.
