Lake Morton, Lakeland - December 31, 2013

This must be the best place to see ruddy ducks, which are native here, and I have also seen at circle B.  There are a lot of non-native species too like the swans, peeking duck, and other various waterfowl.  The nice thing is that it does not feel like you are disturbing the birds when you go up to them to take a picture because they are so used to humans.

 unknown exotic (below) and unknown abandoned eggs (probably mute swan)
