Birds at Fred Howard - January 1, 2014

There were a lot of bird congregated at the beach this morning.  I saw loons, mergansers, and a lot more!
royal terns
 skimmers 
mallards
 red-winged blackbird 
(above) hooded merganser (male) hanging out with a red-breasted merganser (female)
