Fort DeSoto - April 1, 2014

Went here today to find the hooded warblers seen earlier in the week.  I was hoping to see just one, since I never had before, but there were actually dozens all over the park.  What a great day!

parula warbler and white-eyed vireo
yellow-bellied sapsucker























 red-breasted mergansers (above)     -     common loon (below)
 yellow-throated warbler (found near the fort)
 prothonotory warblers (found at the fountain) 
 black and white warbler (found at east beach along with many hooded warblers)
