Owls at Fort DeSoto - February 22, 2014

Went here this morning to check on the owl nest.  I got to see something really special first thing--the mother owl went to take a bath in a nearby puddle.  Sadly, it looks like she has an eye infection, so I wonder if she will be back next year.
