Carillon Park - June 12, 2104

Stopped here first this morning hoping to see more nesting activity from the yellow-crowned night herons.  Looks like at least one is still sitting there, but have stopped nest production.  I wonder if it was all the pesticides sprayed last week.  Also was happy to find two of the tricolored heron babies hanging out together, although I did wonder about the third.  Also pictured are female anhinga, baby gallinule, and skimmer dragonfly.
