Carolina Wrens, John Chestnut - May 10, 2014

These wrens were so cute and too involved in nest-building to mind my camera.  They seemed to be going to several different potential sites, either to have more than one option, or to confuse me if I were a predator.  They did seem reluctant to drop the nesting material, so perhaps I was disturbing them, or maybe that is just what they always do.  I have never seen wrens building a nest before.  I liked the see-thru leaf for my photographs, and the wren seemed to really like it too!
