Carillon Park - August 8, 2014

Stopped here on the way out to look for black terns this morning.  When I looked up at the night heron nest, I couldn't believe there were two big babies in it!  Seems like I was just here looking at the one adult on the nest and assuming she had been unsuccessful.  It was very nice to see the two healthy looking babies, although there was no sign of the adult.
