Smithsonian Natural History Museum - August 13, 2014

Not surprising if you have seen the rest of my blog, I was most interested in the butterflies and insect zoo.  Museums are great, but I still prefer live things.  There was a beautiful huge moth there in a plastic case too (alive), but couldn't get a good shot through the plastic.  Plenty of butterflies to photograph.

 Wow!  What is this?  Definitely not a butterfly.
