Black Bear Festival, Ocala - October 11, 2014

Found out about black bear research from the experts at Ocala Forest.  One park ranger had a baby kingsnake, often confused with coral snake.  I had not seen a wild one before!  Also got to see some zoo animals up close as part of the festival and someone who was carrying around a pet marmoset.  I loved petting the gentle possum, it was the best part of the day!  Poor possums are a misunderstood marsupial (not a rat!).
