Retreat Garden, Bahamas National Trust - December 12, 2014

This place was actually great for birding.  I saw almost all the birds advertised in the brochure...which is probably pretty rare for parks in general!  Some of these are springtime birds in Florida, so I felt special seeing them early this season.  Also saw two life birds, the Caribbean Dove, and the Bahama Mockingbird. Found a snake and a Curlytail lizard along the walk too.  I haven't identified the snake yet, but I am guessing some sort of garter snake.  Also saw a couple of rats or mice run up trees there, but too fast for a picture or an ID.  And, oh yeah, the palms were cool too:)
