Birding at the Lighthouse, St. Simons - September 3, 2015

More birds at the lighthouse area, including one life bird, a clapper rail!  The rail was right out in the open in the middle of the public park, so at first I thought it was sick.  I went up to it and almost was able to pick it up before it flew off.  It was the strangest place to see a reclusive bird.

Other interesting birds were this prairie warbler, eurasian collard doves, and boat-tailed grackles with white eyes (in florida they have black eyes).
