Afternoon at Fort DeSoto - April 12, 2016
Even though the numbers of migrants was low again this year, there were 67 species that I found today, 60 of which were this evening, which is about the best birding trip there ever. Here is the Ebird list.
The best bird was the saltmarsh sparrow, but my favorite at the time was the common nighthawk, a new bird for the park, and a total surprise at 2:00PM!
