Hurricane Hermaine will hit the area tonight, although I will be in Georgia for vacation when it does. I decided to stop at Bayport first thing this morning to see what was flying by. It was pretty interesting there actually. The weather was already starting to deteriorate with strong winds and light rain. There were 15 species there total, which is not a lot. However, it was the first blue-winged teal of the season for me and there were about 25 of them flying south so fast! Here is a collage of what I could photograph.
