Crooked River State Park, GA - September 4, 2016

It was nice to finally be able to walk around this park.  I tried to go last year, but it rained so much I could barely get out of the car.  This year, I did a lot of walking and found some very good birds.  My favorite was this pair of brown-headed nuthatches.  I have only seen this species once before, and from very far away, so these are my best photos of the bird so far.

Also found this fence lizard, cicada, and skink, all somewhat unusual to see.
