Raccoon Caverns, TN - August 12, 2016

This was a nice cavern where mostly you went all the way around one grand room.  Like the cavern I went to in Virginia a couple of months ago, it also had cave salamanders and cave crickets.  The two most interesting and unique features are the fossils of multi-million year old sea creatures, and the "shield", which is a formation that looks like a face.  I really liked the formation that looks like a buffalo.  It was the best one of those imaginary creature formations I have seen in any cavern.
