Flocks at Merritt Island - December 21, 2016

I got so many photos with flocks of birds, I decided to give them their own post.  When all the spoonbills took off from a watering hole, it was my favorite photo of the day.

One Glossy Ibis in a group of Blue-winged Teal
Lesser Scaup in flight
Dunlin
One of many flocks of White Pelicans
Buffleheads - unusual for the park
Greater Yellowlegs
Dunlin and other shorebirds
Pintail with Redhead Ducks
Ring-necked Ducks
Mixture of Pintails, Redheads, and a couple Ring-necks
Coots: by far the largest and most prevalent flocks of the day
