Kingfisher at Merritt Island - February 10, 2017

Just about the first bird I saw at the park today was this beautiful female kingfisher.  They are probably my favorite species of bird here in Florida, and the only one I can think of where the female is prettier than the male.

Before today, I did not really have any good photos of them because they always fly off when you get too close, but somehow I was able to take these.
