Lake Parker Park - March 5, 2017

This was my first time visiting this park in Lakeland, and the first thing I wanted to look for was the friendly purple gallinules.  Sure enough, these birds do not have any fear of people (I think they are fed there), so I was able to get some nice close-up views and photos!

Also saw many other nice-looking birds up close at the park...
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
Carolina Wren
